Isolation of suitable pulp, sludge, slurry and water
The supplied UP catalogue describes a U-shaped peripheral elastomer seat for isolation with pressure from either direction. It is a useful alternative when only open/close operation is required. Continuous throttling requires a design specifically approved for that duty.

What to confirm before ordering
- Catalogue working pressure: DN50–250: 10 bar; DN300–450: 7 bar; DN500–600: 4 bar.
- Do not infer body working pressure from a Class 150 flange drilling alone.
- Provide elastomer compatibility and available operating space.
