V-port valves for sugar & ethanol
From fibrous juice to process utilities.
Selected juice, molasses, fermentation-related liquid streams and utilities.
Temperature and concentration strongly influence molasses viscosity. Fibrous juice presents different challenges from clarified liquor or clean process water. Define each stream instead of treating the whole plant as one valve duty.
Specify the duty
- Brix or concentration, operating temperature and viscosity data
- Fiber and suspended-solids content
- Cleaning cycles, crystallization risk and idle periods
- Whether the stream requires food-contact or hygienic documentation
Where the decision changes
For hot or concentrated streams, include start-up viscosity and shutdown crystallization in the selection. Sanitary certification is not implied by the industrial valve configuration.
From process information to a package
Start with minimum, normal and maximum operating cases. Select the hydraulic capacity, then verify materials, seat performance and actuator torque. Include the required response to lost air, power or control signal. Review maintenance access, installation dimensions and documentation before freezing the order.
Useful next steps
Tell us about your sugar & ethanol application.
Share your operating conditions. We will review the valve, trim, actuator and documentation as one package.
