V-port valves for water & wastewater
Control the process, including its solids.
Process water, sludge transfers, chemical dosing and industrial effluent.
Water-treatment duty spans clean utilities and concentrated sludge. These streams require different seats, materials and sizing methods. Share actual solids content and chemistry to establish whether the proposed configuration fits the service.
Specify the duty
- Liquid temperature, pH, chloride concentration and dosing chemicals
- Sludge solids percentage, viscosity and possible grit
- Operating and shut-off differential pressure
- Required cycling rate, installation orientation and flushing provisions
Where the decision changes
Use the liquid Kv estimator only for qualifying clean-water duties. Non-Newtonian sludge needs appropriate rheology and a solids-aware sizing review.
From process information to a package
Start with minimum, normal and maximum operating cases. Select the hydraulic capacity, then verify materials, seat performance and actuator torque. Include the required response to lost air, power or control signal. Review maintenance access, installation dimensions and documentation before freezing the order.
Useful next steps
Tell us about your water & wastewater application.
Share your operating conditions. We will review the valve, trim, actuator and documentation as one package.
